Rehabilitation & Reintegration
Building second chances through digital skills, enterprise, and creativity.
At CO-101 CIC, we believe rehabilitation is more than just serving time — it’s about preparing for life after release. Employment and self-sufficiency are key to reducing reoffending, and our programmes are designed to give people the tools to rebuild their futures. From digital platform building to music programmes, every strand is practical, inclusive, and focused on creating long-term opportunity.
Why It Matters
Too many individuals leave prison without the skills or opportunities to succeed. Traditional training often focuses on limited career paths, leaving people stuck. We provide future-facing skills — platform building, AI for business, and digital entrepreneurship — so that participants can step into meaningful work or even start their own ventures on release.
What We Offer
-
Short Online Courses – tailored modules in AI literacy, digital basics, money management, and enterprise.
-
Careers Pathway (Adapted) – our flagship dual pathway (Platform Building + AI for Business), redesigned for prison delivery: offline-compatible, practical, and secure.
-
Creative & Music Programmes – engagement projects in partnership with Urban Monk Music, using creativity as a tool for skills, confidence, and career pathways.
-
Reintegration Support – structured work experience and mentorship opportunities once individuals are released, linking them into the CO-101 network.
-
Train the Trainer (Inside) – selected participants trained as peer mentors to support delivery within prisons, building leadership and continuity.
Outcomes
-
Practical skills that translate into jobs and self-employment.
-
A real pathway into the digital economy, not just short-term work.
